I believe that good art reflects something that tells the viewer a story. To me it has to have some sort of significance and a reason behind the work of art. It doesn't necessarily have to be an intricate piece but it does have to have some sort of compelling attractiveness to it. Even if it's simple it needs to bring curiosity and a great impression to those observing the art.
To me bad art is something that is just there, it brings no curiosity or any "wow" feeling. Something that is just a scribble or a dot on a paper is not art to me. It is not art to me simply because anyone can scribble anything on a piece of paper. Art should have meaning and the expression or feeling trying to be sent across to the viewer should be in an artful kind of impressive way.
